A Bit About Us

The Bolinas Volunteer Firefighters Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supporting the volunteers who provide emergency response services to the Bolinas Fire Protection District. The District relies on volunteer response for nearly every emergency call.

In addition to responding to calls, volunteers meet weekly for training to insure they are prepared for any emergency that may arise. While the District does receive funding though taxes and grants, the volunteers rely heavily on donations. Fundraising and donations help to provide volunteers with training materials, personal protective gear and equipment. The Association is also the primary sponsor of the Bolinas Disaster Council.
